 Gilbert A. Girtz Mr. Girtz received his undergraduate degrees from the University of Minnesota and St. Cloud State University. He commenced employment with Wausau Insurance in 1967 as an insurance claims adjuster. He obtained his Juris Doctorate degree in 1973 from the Detroit College of Law. In 1974, Mr. Girtz established Wausau’s Western Michigan House Counsel. He managed their litigation in workers’ compensation and general liability until establishing his own practice in 1978. In 1978, he and Robert Kluczynski formed the firm of Kluczynski & Girtz. In 1980, the present firm of Kluczynski, Girtz & Vogelzang was formed.
